Need To Blog? — Balance

I talk about balance a lot. I do it, because oftentimes I don’t maintain a good balance in my life, between many areas, especially work and relaxation. At the moment I’m writing this to remind myself that I need to write in my offline paper journal for a bit today. I told someone that I would do so, on Friday, and did I? No. I didn’t. I can tell when I need to journal, because in other parts of my life, I start to feel restless and a bit irritable. I know better than to push myself like this. If I continue in this direction, I will probably end up in a stupid and useless argument with someone because I haven’t taken the time to talk out what was bothering me in the first place. That’s a habit I’ve been working hard on breaking. It doesn’t help me or the other person to pick a fight, but it does provide a temporary distraction for me, at least for awhile.
